New technologies and services for existing film stretching lines
Brückner Servtec will present new technologies and services for existing film stretching lines at FilmTech Japan 2016.
Special service for KARO lines
With Brückner’s laboratory stretching machine KARO IV for monoaxial and biaxial film orientation, it is possible to test films and sheets in a very simple and economical manner - in the sequential as well as in the simultaneous stretching mode. The stretching conditions are close to a production line. Brückner Servtec provides a special service for the KARO machine which increases the reliability and lifetime of the system. The intensive line inspection includes functions test, spare parts proposals and a general maintenance of all machine parts. After such a service, the condition and especially the functionality of the machine will be comparable to a new KARO line.
Latest trend for existing lines: 5-layer film
At FilmTech, Brückner Servtec will also show how film manufacturers can produce new products and enter new high-margin markets with an upgrade to multilayer equipment with twin screw main-extrusion and/or co-extrusion. The new concept also includes a multipurpose screw which is able to process PP, EVOH and PA (raw material) more efficiently because no more screw change is necessary.
Drive technology: improved speed control
Visitors will get latest information about Brückner’s direct drives which provide ultimate speed and film tension control for unmatched speed accuracy and improved average film thickness stability. They feature clean mechanical assembly, low maintenance and a low noise level.
