In the existing software the Metering Extruder / Melt Pump, the Coextruders and the Chill Roll speed setpoint will remain at the adjusted value even at film break. The operator has to change it manually to reduce the output. This procedure wastes a lot of precious time and material. We offer a software modification, so that the setpoint of the Metering Extruder / Melt Pump, the Coextruders and the Chill Roll will ramp down automatically to an adjustable setpoint.

In the existing software the die zones temperature setpoint will remain at the adjusted value even the extruder stops. At longer extruder stops the operator has to change the setpoints manually to prevent the degredation of material. We offer a software modification, so that the temperature setpoints of the die will change to an adjustable value and re-adjust again to the old value, if the extruder starts again.
