Real visitors at the ArabPlast in Dubai
The ArabPlast in Dubai, the largest trade expo for plastics, petrochemicals and rubber industry in Middle East & North Africa, attracted numerous visitors. In the Dubai World Trade Center an international audience came together for exchange and networking – with most of the visitors from the Gulf States (GCC), the Sub Indian continent as well as Africa, Europe and Asia.
The Brückner booth at the German Pavilion was also very well attended. All visitors showed great interest regarding new technologies and upgrades to improve the performance of their existing film stretching lines. They asked for technical as well as process audits to optimize the production process and increase the line profitability by finding potentials for improvement.
The customers appreciated also Brückner Servtec as service partner for all biaxial oriented film stretching lines during the whole lifecycle of the machine. In this context, it also became clear in many discussions with film manufacturers that the demand for used lines is constantly increasing. Therefore, Brückner Servtec offers a platform for bringing together supply and demand for used equipment.
Furthermore, Brückner Servtec introduced the new “Brückner ONE” digital solutions for film production: it is a one-stop solution providing a digital platform supporting all matters of the line and its operation.
However, the most widely discussed topic was Circular Economy. Therefore, Brückner Servtec presented advanced solutions for a sustainable film production, such as new upgrade packages for existing BOPP stretching lines, making them able to produce BOPE film, too.
Also for Brückner Maschinenbau were one of the top topics mono-material packaging solutions with the highest possible recycling capabilities. The state-of- the-art materials BOPP and BOPET have a great potential for high value second life products in an upcoming circular economy. A new opportunity is opening up with BOPE. Visitors were very interested in the development of the BOPE film market. In this context, many stimulating discussions were held about Brückner's BOPE/BOPP-hybrid-line concept offering film producers the possibility to be able to react swiftly and flexibly to market trends.
Topics also much discussed: new investments in the region, circular economy, recyclability and sustainability, energy saving and line efficiency.
At the joint Brückner booth, Brückner Servtec and Brückner Maschinenbau were accompanied by Kiefel, presenting various thermoforming solutions.
All staff members of the Brückner Group companies say thanks to the numerous visitors for the exciting conversations and the very high level of the discussions.
