Latest technologies for efficient operation of film stretching lines
For Brückner Servtec, the world’s largest plastics and rubber trade fair, the K 2013 in Düsseldorf, has been the highlight of the year. Numerous customers from all over the world visited our booth and showed great interest in our lifecycle, productivity, value and remote services:
- The upgrade trend multi-layer film has been in the focus of many discussions: the modification of an existing 3-layer-BOPP line to 5- and 7-layer enables to enter new, high margin markets for specialty films.
- Brückner Servtec was proud to present for the first time the third generation of its remote service tools TRAVIS at the K-show: Wireless plant and machine control, hands free working with documents and drawings and transmission of real-time videos with remote experts speeds up troubleshooting and increases line availability.
- Production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) available in real-time on the iPad provide the base for best decisions: Brückner’s Mobile Solution, which is part of the Intelligent Line Management software, was greatly appreciated by the visitors.
Brückner Servtec’s character “Sleeping Sam“ guided the visitors in an animated show through numerous further service and upgrade topics, e.g. twin screw extrusion, direct drives, thickness gauging and control, LIWIND® and condition monitoring.
The entire Brückner Servtec team would like to thank all customers, business partners and friends for their visit and the lively discussions during the show.
