Asia Pacific Specialty Film Seminar in Indonesia
Brückner invited film producers from South East Asia to meet in Indonesia for the Asia Pacific Specialty Film Seminar 2019. Numerous well-known customers, as well as business partners, converters and specialty suppliers came to Jakarta for this one day event and learned about newest technologies and developments in film stretching.
Highlights from Brückner Maschinenbau at the seminar were market developments in South East Asia presented by Xaver Sedlmeier. After that, Dr. Markus Koppers informed about new packaging film types like BOPE, BOPP multilayer, BOPP inline coating and shrink sleeve. His speech was followed by the key note speaker Dr. Jürgen Breil with new technical film types (battery separator film, BOPP capacitor, BOPET optical & solar back sheet). Afterwards, Boris Pasternak introduced selected specialty film line concepts in detail.
For existing film stretching lines, Manuel Neuss from Brückner Servtec presented selected upgrades for multilayer film production and inline coating (ILC) technologies for added value film. Another hot topic at the seminar was clip and chain refurbishment for improved line availability. Finally, Andreas Waldner gave an insight into smart services and their impact on maintenance, repair and spare parts in the future. He introduced also the new Digital Service Platform, Brückner Servtec’s answer to digitalization.
